GDPR Data Protection Regulations
From 25 May 2018, new data protection laws came into effect, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. These laws set out how organisations, including schools, must look after people’s personal information.
At Castleway, we take your privacy seriously. We only collect and use personal information where it is necessary, we keep it secure, and we never share it without a lawful reason. Protecting the information of our pupils, parents, carers and staff is an important part of how we operate as a school.
We have appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to make sure we meet our legal responsibilities and to provide advice and support on data protection matters. If you have any questions about how your information is used, please do not hesitate to contact our DPO using the details below.
Our Data Protection officer is: Shane Williams
We have commissioned an independent data protection service from Global Policing in line with data protection legislation.
